IMPORTANT TOPICS OF JEE PHYSICS

IMPORTANT TOPICS OF JEE PHYSICS

--->

So, you are here to know the topics of physics which are very important in case you appear in the JEE exam. To be serious, remember one thing JEE Main physics tests how many do you know whereas, JEE advanced wants to know how deeply you know any simple topic.
Still, some chapters are the heart of JEE physics.

1. Mechanics and Kinematics

You know this two topics are very5 important. But only knowing this is not enough. I'm sure you will learn something new after completely reading this post. Ok focus and focus on -----
1. VVI Problems including differential equations of the displacement, velocity etc.
2. Projectile motions from a height
3. And also the relative velocity and accelaration.
4. Pseudo Force concepts.

2. Magnetism

You have to emerge yourself into the 3d concepts and directions which are followed by the magnetism quantities. Don't forget the formlae
a) torque = BNIA;
b) F = BIL ;
c) e = Blv & 1/2*Bwr2;

3. Energy conservation

Questions on the conservation of mechanical energy both translational and rotational are fantabulous. Ooh hellow, apply the conservation after thinking that is it applicable or not. Some situations loses energy in the nature, remember them. On the later posts I will try to give you some problems from all the important topics.

Last but not the least.....

The more you practice you will develope and I will never recommend you to skip any chapters but the above mentioned are the most important.
Thank you very much to all the readers..

IMPORTANT TOPICS FOR JEE MATHEMATICS

IMPORTANT TOPICS FOR JEE MATHEMATICS

--->

There are certain things that causes the JEE exam to be the most wanted. Mathematics is the core for JEE as its application is needed in the other two subjects. So , taking care of some topics in JEE mathematics can help you not only in just mathematics but it will also enhance your problem solving skills of Physics and Chemistry.

1. Calculus

At the top of the list there should be Calculus obviously due to its tremendous applications in the all types of questions. It had been trend in JEE to mix two or more topics in one single question.

To be specific let's come through the concepts which will definately help you guys.

  • Differentiation : Maxima-minima, increasing and decreasing functions , points of non-differentiability and point of inflextion will solve 95% of the JEE math problems.
    As an example, finding the number of non-derivable points in a given function appears in the JEE paper in almost every paper.
  • Integration : In JEE, definite integration is very very important. You should know the shortcuts of definite integration properly. In another post I will focus on those shortcuts.

2. Algebra

In the consequence, algebra shouldn't be ignored. Not all the topics but ---
permutation and combination along with probability, the complex numbers. I should mention the geometrical interpretation in complex numbers problems is must. Then the sequence and series creates some interesting questions ( shortcuts also ).

3. Co-ordinate geometry and Graph plotting

There are five- straight line, circle, ellipse, parabola, hyperbola. All are important. Mixed question may also come in the paper. Don't forget to know about the various interesting properties which the geometrical figures obey.
Graph plotting , though a topic of higher mathematics, is needed in JEE also. Even and odd functions and their properties non-derivable points in a functions graph, increasing and decreasing nature of a graph which you can somehow relate with calculus also are non-avoidable..

Let's start from today onwards . Maintain a precious dream in life. thank you very much.

Even and odd functions

Even and odd functions

 Even & Odd function

Every function has its own identity . Let,  a function f(x) is defined in a particular interval . If it satisfies the condition that,

f(x)=f(-x)
Then the function f is even function .
Whereas , if
f(-x)= -f(x)
Then the function is odd function.

The story is not over yet. There is a property which differentiate the odd function from even function. If I draw the graph of f(x) function which is odd then I will find no symmetry about y axis but if I take and even function and draw its graph then it will be symmetric about y axis. Here are two examples of even and odd function with their graphs..

Here we have to note that some functions are neither even not odd these are called NENO functions.

Let's feel math .

Let's feel mathematics.

A controversy :

teachers of every subject used to proof that their subject is the best and is the soul of universe. In every country you will find teachers who are busy to such . But I will not try to prove in front of you that mathematics is the best subject. I will just try to make you feel the mathematics from your heart and soul.

Love for mathematics. :

Love for mathematics is extremely important during the study of mathematics in any university or college or even High school . How do you know that you have loved Mathematics? Suppose you are attempting an online math examination which can be anytime paused. Suppose your mother is asking you for taking food pausing the examination thereafter. But if you say to her that, " Mom I will eat after the completion of the exam" , it is your love for mathematics.
